On Thursday, April 11, 2019 Kathleen McConnell, a partner in the eDiscovery and Information Governance group, presented at the 6th Annual Innovation in E-Discovery Conference in San Francisco, CA. Kathleen presented on two panels for this year’s conference. The first panel, “Data Protection: CCPA, GDPR, and Privacy–What’s Next?,” discussed the complex guidelines of the forthcoming California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). The second panel, “Evolving Technologies and New Forms of ESI,” discussed the growing role of technology and analytics in the legal market.
