Seyfarth Shaw is pleased to sponsor the New York City Bar Association’s 7th Annual Securities Litigation & Enforcement Institute in New York, NY taking place from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm on Wednesday, January 23, 2019.

 

The full-day program will provide a comprehensive overview of recent trends, developments and cutting-edge issues in securities litigation and enforcement.  The panels will include prominent securities litigators, senior in-house counsel at major financial institutions and corporations, national recognized trial lawyers, jury consultants, and economists. David Boies will make the keynote address on protecting the rule of law and George Conway, a protect the rule of law supporter and husband of Kelly Ann Conway, will introduce Mr. Boies for the keynote address.

 

Greg Markel, partner and Co-Chair of Seyfarth’s National Securities & Financial Litigation practice group, serves as the Institute’s Co-Chair. Mr. Markel will lead two panel sessions, “Trends in Securities Filings” and “An In-House Perspective on Managing Multiple Regulatory Investigations and Parallel, Private Securities Litigation.” 

 

Will Prickett, partner and Chair of Seyfarth’s National Securities & Financial Litigation practice group, will moderate the panel, “Shareholder Activism Today, Delaware and M&A Litigation.”
