Please join us for an interactive discussion regarding the New York City law requiring employers to engage in a “cooperative dialogue” with individuals with disabilities and other protected categories (i.e. religion, pregnancy, childbirth, or a related medical condition, and victims of domestic abuse, sex offenses, and stalking).
The discussion will include:
- How to ensure compliance with the substantive and procedural requirements under the new law
- The requirement of a written final determination by the employer
- Policy revisions
- Practical advice and application through the use of several hypothetical situations
