On October 29, Tonya Esposito and Renee Appel will be presenting to the joint meeting of the Food Safety Task Force and Food Supply Chain Committee of the National Retail Federation in Washington, DC. The presentation, entitled "Demystifying CBD and Food Products: a Look at the Regulatory Landscape, Market Trends, and Latest Developments" will, among other things: 1) provide an overview of cannabidiol (CBD); 2) examine the regulation of marketing and sales of food products; 3) evaluate recent commentary by regulators on CBD and food products; 4) discuss market trends; and 5) present risk management options.
