Gordon Peery to Moderate at Wayne Law Review’s Symposium on Blockchain and the Law

Gordon Peery, Chair of the firm’s Derivatives Practices and Co-Chair of the Blockchain Technologies Team, will be moderating on a panel at Wayne Law Review’s upcoming Symposium, "The Emerging Blockchain & the Law" in Detroit, MI on Friday, February 22, 2019.  

Blockchain technology is impacting the complex legal, financial, and economic mechanisms that shape private exchange as well as collective experience in society today. This Symposium will bring together legal academics, technologists, and policy specialists to explore the legal implications of blockchain technologies that alter and expand traditional models for the sharing of regulatory and political power with private actors in a wide variety of contexts.
