Late last year, California enacted SB 1162 which expands the scope of California's pay reporting requirements. The changes in the law impact both employers and third-party "labor contractors." Last week, California's Civil Rights Department (CRD), issued FAQs regarding implementation of the new requirements. The first reports under the amended law are due on May 10, 2023. Please join Seyfarth’s People Analytics Team for an informative webinar examining the pay reporting requirements.

Topics will include:

  • Background on the law;
  • Key Definitions that impact “Employee Payroll Report” and the “Labor Contractor Report”;
  • Who must be included in the reports;
  • The data requirements needed for both reports; and
  • Compliance best practices.
