Marshall Babson quoted in Bloomberg Law

Marshall Babson was quoted in a January 17 story from Bloomberg Law, "NLRB ‘Joint Employer’ Plan Short on Cost Estimates: Academics," on the National Labor Relations Act’s prohibition on the NLRB hiring economists. Babson said that the NLRA’s specific ban on economists likely overrides the requirements on cost estimates in rulemaking that apply to agencies more generally.
