Adria leads matters in Seyfarth’s Transactional Risk Insurance practice. She also has extensive experience advising clients on the employee benefits aspects of corporate transactions.


More About Adria

Adria represents insurance carriers throughout the entire underwriting process of a corporate transaction, including the due diligence phase and policy negotiation. Adria advises transactional risk clients on a variety of transactions, including regular buyout M&A, real estate, and secondaries transactions. She also advises clients on a wide range of complex employee benefits-related matters, including the employee benefits aspects of corporate transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, spinoffs, divestitures, carveouts, and restructuring transactions, as well as post-closing integration matters. Adria also has experience representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service on qualified plan correction matters, as well as advising on compliance with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

Adria has experience in employee benefits and executive compensation matters, both practicing at an American Lawyer Top 5 law firm and as a consultant at a Big 4 accounting firm. Drawing on this combined experience, Adria provides clients with a unique perspective when advising on their legal responsibilities so that they can meet their business objectives.

Prior to joining Seyfarth, Adria represented public companies and private equity funds on more than 1,400 transactions, including numerous transactions involving representations and warranties insurance.
