On November 30, 2011, L&E attorney Minh Vu will present a webinar on "ADA Changes for Pools, Recreational Facilities & Service Animals." The webinar will provide an in-depth look at the ADA's new requirements for recreational facilities and service animals, and learn how they impact lodging facilities and operations - the compliance deadline for recreational facilities is March 15, 2012.

Presenters

Minh N. Vu is the national ADA Title III practice team leader and a partner in the Labor and Employment Department of Seyfarth Shaw's Washington, D.C. office. She is recognized as one of the country's top disability law attorneys. While at the U.S. Department of Justice, she oversaw the enforcement of Title III of the ADA. She is a trusted advisor to many national hotel companies, banks, retailers, universities, and other public accommodations on all aspects of Title III of the ADA, and defends a wide variety of businesses against government investigations and lawsuits brought under this statute.

Karen L. Stephenson is a litigation counsel in the Labor & Employment Department of Seyfarth Shaw's Chicago office. She has defended shopping centers, grocery stores, retailers, hotels, and other public accommodations in a broad range of accessibility lawsuits under Title III of the the ADA and similar state laws. She has created compliance tools and training programs for a wide variety of businesses, and counsels clients on the requirements of Title III of the ADA and other disability laws.
