Veteran M&A Attorney Paul Pryzant Joins Seyfarth Shaw in Houston

HOUSTON (February 23, 2015) — Seyfarth Shaw LLP announced today the arrival of Paul Pryzant as a partner in the firm’s Corporate department in Houston. Pryzant joins Seyfarth from Burleson LLP, where he was a partner at the energy law boutique from 2008.

For more than 30 years, Pryzant has advised clients in a wide range of mergers & acquisitions, equity and debt financings, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and other corporate transactions. His practice includes securities, venture capital, executive compensation and commercial operating contracts. His mergers and acquisitions practice involves a wide range of industries including oilfield services, drilling, industrial services and products, healthcare, and software and technology.

Over the course of his career, Pryzant has served as General Counsel for two public companies, and one private company in the process of going public. He regularly advises emerging growth companies and their angel investors, from start-up, through financing, to exit, and currently serves as the General Counsel of the Houston Angel Network.
