Mr. Bodansky is the Managing Partner of the Washington, D.C. office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP, emphasizing real estate, business and investment transactions.

Mr. Bodansky’s real estate practice focuses on the sale, acquisition, development, financing and leasing of commercial properties. In addition to his work with private owners and developers, Mr. Bodansky represents public pension funds in their acquisition, disposition and management of real property, and helps them structure joint ventures and other transactions in a way that addresses the tax and other issues specific to these funds. He also serves as national leasing counsel to a NYSE listed company, and represents other national and regional office, retail and industrial tenants in their development and leasing of space around the country.

In the business arena, Mr. Bodansky works with businesses and investors in connection with all manner of commercial and financial transactions. He is regularly called upon to represent companies in connection with mergers, acquisitions, sales and financing (including both traditional and venture capital financing) and serves as outside general counsel to a number of privately held businesses. Mr. Bodansky also is involved in the co-location of foreign companies to the United States and in cross-border transactions. His clients include a broad range of local, regional and national businesses, as well as multinational companies operating in Canada, Europe, the Far East and Latin America.

In addition, Mr. Bodansky serves as investment counsel to public and private pension funds, representing them in connection with their investments in private equity funds, hedge funds, club deals, fund of funds and other pooled investments.
