Unions, with help from the National Labor Relations Board, are increasingly developing and using innovative approaches to organizing, litigating and bargaining—and are trying to join together suppliers and customers, franchisors and franchisees, and businesses and their contractors. Unions are holding seminars and other training sessions to equip their staffs and members on how to most effectively use these tactics, and we have designed this year’s Labor University to equip employers to understand these tactics and to be able to effectively respond to them.
