Seyfarth Adds Beazer Homes Assistant General Counsel in Atlanta

ATLANTA (April 14, 2015) — Seyfarth Shaw LLP announced today the arrival of partner Timothy M. Sullivan to the firm’s Real Estate practice in Atlanta. Sullivan joins Seyfarth from national home-builder Beazer Homes USA, Inc., where he was Assistant General Counsel. A top 10 U.S. home-builder, Beazer has built more than 170,000 homes since going public in 1994. 

Prior to Beazer, Sullivan was a partner in the Real Estate Capital Markets practice at King & Spalding in Atlanta. His practice focuses on the sale, acquisition, construction, development, and leasing of all types of real estate assets, as well as the formation and structuring of joint ventures. He has handled complex transactions for a variety of properties, including hotel, office, industrial, medical office, and apartment complexes. Sullivan has also advised private Real Estate Investment Trusts (REIT) in multibillion-dollar acquisitions and disposition programs.

In addition to his acquisitions and dispositions knowledge, Sullivan has led the structuring and closing of joint ventures to acquire, develop, and finance large property portfolios on behalf of his clients.

Sullivan received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Florida College of Law, where he was member of the Florida Law Review. He earned his B.S., magna cum laude, in Management at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
