Seyfarth Shaw LLP represented Wilson Sporting Goods Co., a division of Amer Sports Corporation, in the move of its corporate headquarters to Prudential Plaza, 130 E. Randolph Street, in Chicago’s Loop neighborhood. Wilson signed a 12-year lease on the fifth and sixth floors of the 41-story building, built in 1955. Wilson will move its workforce of 400 people to the new site in December 2017.

Prudential Plaza is owned by 601W, a New York-based venture that gained control of the two-tower, 2.2 million-square-foot office complex in 2013.

In 2015, Seyfarth Shaw LLP advised Wilson Sporting Goods, the official glove of Major League Baseball (MLB), in a historic agreement to acquire the rights to the iconic Louisville Slugger brand, MLB’s official bat.

The Seyfarth real estate team was led by Chicago partner Jay Gitles.
