Ms. Dygert is a partner at Seyfarth Shaw LLP and a member of the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Department. She is a co-founder of the Health Care Reform Task Force and focuses much of her practice on health and welfare plans compliance, including the Affordable Care Act (known as Obamacare) and the proposed modifications to the ACA. She has counseled and trained clients extensively on HIPAA privacy compliance and helped implement compliance plans.  Ms. Dygert frequently provides counsel to clients on voluntary and involuntary severance and reductions in force.

On the retirement side, Ms. Dygert also has substantial experience with both qualified and nonqualified plans, helping establish, implement and administer these programs.  She has defended clients in audits with government agencies, including the IRS and DOL.  Ms. Dygert works with clients on establishing and conducting appropriate fiduciary compliance processes—critically important in this era of intense scrutiny.  She also focuses on executive compensation matters, including employment and severance agreements, stock options, restricted stock, and performance-based compensation.  Ms. Dygert is involved in the international aspects of employee benefits issues.
