Ilana is a trusted advisor to businesses navigating the ever-evolving landscape of occupational safety and health regulation. Based in Seyfarth’s San Francisco office, she focuses her practice on California’s unique and complex Cal/OSHA requirements, providing clients across industries with clear, practical guidance to meet compliance obligations and mitigate risk.
Ilana regularly advises companies on developing and enhancing workplace safety programs, responding to Cal/OSHA inquiries, managing inspections, and defending against citations. Her clients value her strategic, solutions-oriented approach and her ability to deliver actionable advice tailored to real-world operational needs.
In addition to her occupational safety and health work, Ilana assists client in conducting environmental due diligence related to business transactions and property acquisitions.

She is a key member of Seyfarth’s Workplace Safety & Environmental practice group, where she has built her entire legal career.
