Marshall Babson was quoted in a November 4 story “High Court Set To Clarify Presidential Appointment Limits” in Law360 on how the U.S. Supreme Court will consider the National Labor Relations Board’s argument that Lafe Solomon's three-year tenure as acting NLRB general counsel was legitimate, a case that experts say could make future presidents more wary of how they appoint career agency officials to vacant high-level positions. Babson noted that regardless of the position, appointments to the NLRB are often highly politicized, much more so than appointments to other agencies and departments.
