Ed Bergmann quoted in the Cook County Record, “FLSA Rising: Looming rule changes portend more litigation, complexity for employers”

Ed Bergmann was quoted in an August 21 story from the Cook County Record on how employers of all sizes are facing a mounting number of lawsuits brought under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act by current and past employees who argue they have been shortchanged. Bergmann said in the event that a business does face litigation, less than 5 percent of FLSA cases go to trial.
