Sam Schwartz-Fenwick authored an article in the Summer issue of an ABA newsletter, "The Future of the Federal Transgender Benefit Protections." The article discusses Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity), age or disability under any health program or activity that receives federal financial assistance.
