Litigation can be an unfortunate and jarring intrusion for any employer or benefit plan sponsor. Jules understands the importance of carefully assessing litigation and thinking strategically to both resolve the matter in the moment and position the client’s business to avoid future risk.
Jules represents employers, benefit plans, and plan sponsors in a wide range of employment law matters, with a focus on a range of employee benefits litigation matters, including claims for benefits, claims for withdrawal liability, and complex class actions regarding retirement plans. Jules also represents clients with respect to a range of appellate litigation and counsels clients regarding compliance with a variety of workplace laws and regulations.
Jules has a broad familiarity with ERISA (the Employee Retirement Income Security Act), the complex statute that governs employer welfare and retirement benefit plans, and uses that knowledge to help clients solve problems of all sizes. Jules also draws on the collective experience and knowledge of the Seyfarth team to provide a superior level of service.
