Mark Lies was quoted in a March 23 story “Businesses Prepare for Zika Threat” by Risk & Insurance on employers may face liability risks if the child of a traveling or expat female employee is infected. Lies said companies could expose themselves to liabilities if they force a female employee to travel to an infested area and she gives birth to a child with physical or mental defects.
