Pamela L. Vartabedian is an associate in the Labor and Employment Department in the San Francisco office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP.  Ms. Vartabedian concentrates her practice on all areas of labor and employment law, including wage & hour, discrimination, retaliation, and employer counseling.  Prior to joining Seyfarth Shaw, Ms. Vartabedian practiced at a civil defense firm where she represented clients in personal injury, wrongful death, commercial liability, defamation, products, premises, and employment actions. 

Ms. Vartabedian has significant California state court trial experience.  She served as second-chair in a eight-week jury trial defending a multi-million dollar case.

During law school, Ms. Vartabedian was a Dean’s List honoree, served as Comments Editor for the Santa Clara Law Review, served as an extern to Justice Patricia Bamattre-Manoukian at the California Sixth District Court of Appeal, and was Vice President of the Women and Law Association.  She has also published a law review article, The Need to Hold Batterers Accountable: Admitting Prior Acts of Abuse in Cases of Domestic Violence (47 Santa Clara L. Rev. 157 (2007)).
