More About Rob

Rob's practice is largely construction-focused, involving the representation of developers, contractors, construction managers, and subcontractors in all facets of their business. He counsels clients within the framework of what resources are available and other constraints that may exist.

Rob also has experience representing sureties in payment and performance bond matters and insurers in construction-related matters. He has also represented community associations and is experienced in governance, drafting and amendment of governing documents, and covenant enforcement matters.

A unique aspect of Rob's practice involves construction contract and related work for condominiums and co-ops. These clients are often not construction professionals, so preparation of the contract also involves counseling regarding matters they need to be aware of, and other construction best practices.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Rob worked for a general contractor on new construction and renovation projects in a variety of sectors, including, telecommunications, K-12, higher education, and government. Having worked in the construction sector gives him a unique perspective into the challenges that developers and contractors face in their daily operations. Clients appreciate Rob's construction background, which lends him credibility, but also gives clients comfort knowing that he has been in their shoes.

Rob likes that even though he is based in Atlanta, he can support Seyfarth attorneys throughout the country. He also enjoys counseling clients and hearing about the successful completion of projects for which he helped draft contracts.
