Charles Wall to Moderate "(Don’t) Kill All the Lawyers…Untangling Risk Issues in P3 Projects" Panel at 2019 ARTBA P3 Conference

Charles Wall, partner in Seyfarth's Construction Group, will moderate the panel “(Don’t) Kill All the Lawyers…Untangling Risk Issues in P3 Projects” at The American Road & Transportation Builders Association Public-Private Partnerships in Transportation Conference on July 19, 2019 in Washington, D.C.

The panel is intended to explore legal perspectives on key contractual risk issues in the current P3 market. Topics will include a look at the current state of risk allocations and whether risk profiles and tolerances are shifting (and whether shifts are for better or worse). The panel will assess the most hotly debated risk items between owners and bid teams, and will share views on risks associated with the merits and downsides of various P3 models, the effectiveness of procurement processes in optimizing contractual risk allocations, and the impact of competitive influences. The panel will also identify and assess risk-related market trends and predictions for the future.
