Information Governance is rapidly emerging as the convergence and coherence of disparate information and risk management practices, particularly eDiscovery, records management, and data governance. Legal, records, business and IT are joint information stakeholders, but often don’t operate as such or recognize their fundamental dependencies. When these stakeholders work in concert with a unified approach to information governance, companies can make step-change improvements in information economics by disposing of unnecessary data, curbing storage growth and reducing the information volume-related costs of litigation – often saving $50 million or more.
The program includes a combination of presentations by information governance leaders and working sessions on cost analyses, program and organization models, practice benchmarks and leadership models. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from other leaders and work jointly with colleagues and peers on applying these tools and models in their own organization.
Topics include:
- Information Economics
- Governance Program Charter and Structure
- Process Optimization
-
Practice Leadership in Legal, Records, and IT to Drive Step Change Results
