Accomplished Corporate Attorney Charles C. Pak Joins Seyfarth Shaw in Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA (September 25, 2006) - - Seyfarth Shaw LLP, one of America’s leading full service law firms, announced that Charles C. Pak has joined the firm as a Corporate and Finance partner in its Los Angeles office. Previously, he was a partner with Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he was a founding member of the corporate practice group in that firm's Los Angeles office.  Pak is among several accomplished corporate and finance attorneys who have come to Seyfarth Shaw in recent months whose presence enhances the high level of counsel the practice group provides to clients in sophisticated transactional matters.  His arrival reflects the firm's ongoing commitment increasing the depth and scope of the practice regionally and nationally.

Pak specializes in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital and corporate finance. His broad transactional experience includes representation of buyers, sellers, private equity funds and financial advisers in public and private M&A transactions, including in the bankruptcy or distressed sale context; issuers, underwriters and institutional investors in public and private financing transactions; and public companies in connection with corporate governance matters.

Pak received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law. He is admitted to both the California and New York State Bars.
