Alan Yoshitake, national chair of Seyfarth's Trusts and Estates practice and global co-chair of its International Family Office group, has been recognized as a Top Estate & Wealth Management Lawyer for 2026 by the Daily Journal (California).

Yoshitake, based in Los Angeles, advises individuals, families, fiduciaries, financial institutions, closely held businesses, and family offices on sophisticated wealth transfer, tax, trust, and estate planning matters. He is a seasoned litigator, representing clients in complex trust, estate, and fiduciary disputes.

Daily Journal, in its profile of Yoshitake, noted that Alan's interest in trusts, estates, and wealth management began at a young age after helping his parents identify errors in a tax return that resulted in a refund for the family. "Ever since that experience, I became interested in helping people with their wealth management issues," he said.

The feature article further highlighted his work on a multigenerational estate spanning five generations, where he structured a strategy designed to minimize transfer taxes, maximize governance and control, and support the continuity of a globally recognized family enterprise.
