Andrew Pearlstein a Panelist for CRE Finance Council Webinar "What You Need to Know on Oregon House Bill 4204"

Andrew Pearlstein, partner in Seyfarth's Real Estate department, is serving as a panelist for the CRE Finance Council webinar "What You Need to Know on Oregon House Bill 4204" on July 23, 2020.

The webinar will cover the full scope and impact of a new emergency law in Oregon (HB 4204) that imposes sweeping changes on commercial real estate loans. House Bill 4204 requires all lenders authorized to do business in Oregon to provide notice by mail of the new law’s protections to "all of the lender's borrowers" by August 30. The law prohibits default mitigation steps, requires mandatory payment deferral, and imposes a foreclosure moratorium and other measures through September 30 with a potential extension option. Governor Kate Brown (D) signed the bill into law on June 30.
