Angelo Paparelli quoted in the Daily Journal

Angelo Paparelli was quoted in a December 8 story from the Daily Journal entitled “LA attorneys settle in nationwide visa fraud sweep” on the SEC’s newly announced wave of settlements and an additional suit against U.S. attorneys and law firms accused of recommending certain investments under the EB-5 Immigrant Investor visa program to clients, from which they received undisclosed referral commissions. Paparelli warned that attorneys operating in the EB-5 space risk running afoul of the law by wearing too many hats.
