Seyfarth Shaw Chicago partner and Chair of the firm's Government Contract Business Forum Anita Ponder was interviewed on the television program, Emilie & Friends in the segment, "Emilie 1 on 1," on September 18 and 19. Created and hosted by veteran radio personality Emilie McKendall, Anita spoke on the topic, "Doing Business with the Government" at the local, state and federal levels. She also discussed issues surrounding the participation of women-owned business, minority business enterprises and small business on government contracts.

A frequent speaker on these issues and nationally renowned for handling a range of supplier diversity matters, Anita was also recently named by Today's Chicago Woman as "Making a Difference" and honored during Chicago Women's History Month for demonstrated leadership in mentoring, workplace and community advocacy and local and global human rights initiatives.
