Battle of the Lawyers II: Generosity Strikes Back Fundraiser to Benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank

Members of the Seyfarth Boston office have teamed up with other local law firms and legal vendors to present Battle of the Lawyers II: Generosity Strikes Back - A Charity Cornhole Tournament to Benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank on Wednesday, September 9 at 6:00 p.m. at Harpoon Brewery in the Seaport.

Not so long ago, in a neighborhood not very far away...
A collection of Boston law firms and corporate sponsors rallied around The Greater Boston Food Bank in a time of need, teaming up to raise more than $60,000. This newly formed alliance relied not on lightsabers and starships, but rather on food, local beer, and friendly competition in the form of a charity head-to-head cornhole tournament between law firms. Given the success of this effort and the continued needs of The Greater Boston Food Bank, we are back with the sequel!

Teams from our participating firms will go head-to-head, and we welcome you to come cheer on your firm, celebrate friendly competition and camaraderie in the Boston legal community, and most importantly support the Greater Boston Food Bank in a time of increased need. 

September is also Hunger Action Month, making this event all the more appropriately timed. As you may know, the GBFB distributes over 90 million meals each year for those experiencing food insecurity across Eastern MA and serve 600,000 people in 190 cities and towns per month. 

In addition to the donations from the participating firms, we will be hosting a charity raffle with great donated prizes from local companies, restaurants, hotels, and others.
