Brenda Radmacher to Present at AAA Mediation Month Program at Pepperdine University

On October 29, 2026, Seyfarth partner Brenda Radmacher will serve as a featured presenter during the American Arbitration Association's (AAA) inaugural Mediation Month, a nationwide event series commemorating the AAA's Centennial.

The Los Angeles program, "Almost Done Isn't Done: The Art & Law of Closing Mediation Settlements That Stick," will take place at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law's Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution in Malibu, California. The event is part of a five-city series designed to provide advanced mediation training and foster connections within the dispute resolution community.

The national theme for AAA Mediation Month 2026 is "The Final Mile of Mediation." Programs will focus on the critical final stage of the mediation process, helping parties move from productive negotiations to durable, enforceable, and well-documented resolutions. Topics will include closing techniques, overcoming late-stage impasse, memorializing settlement terms, avoiding post-mediation disputes, and safeguarding settlement agreements.

Designed for experienced mediators, advocates, in-house counsel, and dispute resolution professionals, the program will offer practical guidance, advanced CLE education, and valuable networking opportunities with leaders in the alternative dispute resolution community.
