A front page article ("Business Court Hearing Case, But Not City Airport Fight") on December 22, 2005 notes that the viability of moving the $60 million wrongful termination suit against the city of Atlanta by Chip's client [the architectural firm designing the new airport; Terminal Design Team] to Fulton County's new business court is doubtful as both sides have to agree to use the court and the city's lawyers do not agree.

The business court was formed to speed major business fights through the backlogged Fulton County Superior Court. The business case division of Fulton Superior Court, which started on October 11, is designed to handle cases in which more than $1 million is at stake. The inability to move forward is a disappointment to Chip. "I don’t think there is a better case suited for business court, because of the amount of discovery involved and the complexity of the issues," Chip stated. "Reasonable minds on this one shouldn't differ."
