Crisis Control: Managing Trade Secret Misappropriation and Data Breaches
2025 Trade Secrets Webinar Series
About the Program
Trade Secret theft and data breaches often strike without warning. How your company responds in the first critical hours can determine whether the issue is contained or spirals into a major crisis. Whether it is an employee walking out with confidential files or a cyber incident exposing sensitive systems, the risk to both data and trade secrets is very real.
Join Seyfarth’s team of trade secrets and data protection attorneys for “Crisis Control: Managing Trade Secret Misappropriation and Data Breaches,” a timely session in our 2025 Trade Secrets Webinar Series. The webinar will offer real-world guidance for responding to crises at the intersections of digital data and proprietary information.
Topics will include:
- Identifying early warning signs of data compromises and trade secret theft
- Launching coordinated investigations across legal, IT, and leadership teams
- Preserving digital evidence and mitigating ongoing exposure
- Evaluating injunctive relief and engaging law enforcement
- Managing internal communications during the crisis
- Lessons learned from recent data-driven litigation and enforcement actions
This webinar is ideal for in-house counsel, compliance officers, IT security professionals, and business leaders responsible for protecting sensitive information and managing incident response.
