Daniel Evans a Panelist for RMA NY Webinar “Commercial Real Estate for Risk Managers”

Daniel Evans, partner in Seyfarth’s Real Estate department, will be serving as a panelist for the RMA NY webinar “Commercial Real Estate for Risk Managers” on July 22, 2020.

Topics will include:

• The latest thoughts on stress in the lodging and retail sectors, and how market players are assessing risk and valuations with limited information on cash flows
• Expected medium and longer-term impacts on the office sector given the possibility of population shift out of major cities, the preponderance of work from home arrangements, and the resulting (potentially) reduced space demand in central business districts
• How government sponsored programs have impacted the CRE/CMBS markets (i.e. TALF, PPP, CARES, etc.) 
• Knock-on impacts to the multifamily sector if the aforementioned population shift occurs, amid elevated unemployment rates, etc.
