David Blake Quoted in the Washington Business Journal
"For Green Building, It's Legal Limbo"

David Blake was quoted in the November 14, 2008 issue of the Washington Business Journal in the article, "For Green Building, It's Legal Limbo." The article discussed how green building is growing exponentially in D.C. and across the nation, and yet there still isn't a cottage industry of green-accredited lawyers or a pool of precedent-setting litigation. According to David, who is a LEED-accredited professional, a lot of the work thus far has been guesswork. He continued, "The last time I did searches through legal software, I didn't find reported cases on sustainable or green project issues. A lot is thinking forward about what the risks might be and how to work with our clients."
