Dawn Mertineit Discusses Legal Uncertainty for Employers on FTC Non-Compete Ban in Agenda

Agenda quoted Dawn Mertineit in its article, “‘Uncertain Playing Field’ for Noncompete Ban After Courts Split,” on August 5. Mertineit discussed how recent opposing legal rulings are impacting boards who have to assess how their companies should proceed before the FTC’s non-compete ban goes into effect.

“Because of this compliance burden and the uncertainty stemming from the courts, some companies are slowing compliance activities because they feel strongly that the rule is not going to go into effect one way or another.”
