Eric Boyd Co-Chairs Annual Clean Air Act Conference

On Thursday, November 12, Eric Boyd co-chaired the annual Clean Air Conference for the Lake Michigan State's Section of the Air and Waste Management Association. The full-day conference included presentations by senior management in the air bureaus of the U.S. EPA, Region V, and the regional states. Over 150 attendees heard discussions on topics including Clean Air Act regulatory developments; air permitting updates; green house gas voluntary, regulatory and legislative developments; and air enforcement trends. The lunch speaker was Bharat Mathur, the Acting Regional Administrator of Region V.

The AWMA is a premier association of air and waste professionals. The Lake Michigan State's Section includes Illinois, Indiana, and parts of Wisconsin and Michigan. Eric is the past president of the Section, has been a frequent speaker/chair of the annual Clean Air Conference and other local conferences, and has presented at the AWMA's annual meeting.
