Environmental attorney Eric Boyd was quoted in the Winter 2010 issue of Environmental Quality Management. The article discussed the process of companies providing information to the public and soliciting stakeholder input and suggestions regarding issues such as the investigation and cleanup of contaminated sites. According to the article, the goal is to allow public participation in the decision-making process with the hope of resolving their points of concern. Eric noted, "When a public meeting or hearing is being held, it's nice when there is someone in the audience who can say, I've been inside the plant and I know the plant manager, and everything he's saying is true."
