Gregory Markel will be moderating and Giovanna Ferrari will be a panelist at the PLUS webinar, "New Risks of Claims Against Directors from COVID-19, Cyber Attacks, and The Growing Support for ESG and Diversity and Inclusion". 

Corporations and their boards are facing quickly increasing demands for them to speak up for and improve their own performance with respect to environmental, social and supply chain issues. These demands are coming from shareholders both retail (class actions, derivative actions voting of shares and sales of their stock) and institutional (e.g. Blackrock, Nasdaq, State Street) rating agencies (ISS, Glass Lewis) public interest groups and government. The focus of this webinar would be on describing these risks, where they are coming from and the steps Companies, Directors and Officers need to take to address them.
