“Company can’t sue independent contractor for stealing trade secrets”

Seyfarth Shaw Trade Secrets partner Ilan Barzilay is quoted in a February 5 Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly article discussing a recent case in which a Superior Court judge ruled that a company which failed to require a hired independent contractor to sign a confidentiality agreement is unable to sue him for misappropriation of trade secrets.
