Jay Wardlaw, Arren Goldman, and James Sowka Panelists for MBA Webinar "Commercial/Multifamily: Market Distress and Loan Workouts"

Jay Wardlaw, co-chair of Seyfarth's Real Estate Finance group, and Arren Goldman and James Sowka, co-chairs of the firm's Distressed Situations team, will serve as panelists for the MBA webinar "Commercial/Multifamily: Market Distress and Loan Workouts" on February 24, 2021.

Delinquencies and defaults increased substantially in 2020; very unevenly across different lender types and property types. Given the landscape and challenges with retail and hospitality loans, the panel will focus on the various stages of the loan workout and recovery process. While outlining important points and items to be aware of at different stages, the panel will also provide commentary on what is happening in the market today as the current downturn continues to evolve.
