Jean-Noel Ben Hamou and Michelle Gergerian’s article, “Amended Regulations Drastically Affect Canadian Temporary Foreign Worker Program,” was published in the August 27, 2010, issue of Immigration Daily. Their article discusses the amended Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations that will drastically impact the Canadian temporary foreign worker program once it goes into effect on April 1, 2011. The authors explain that the Temporary Foreign Workers Program (“TFWP”) has been amended to clarify the process for and establish the factors to be considered in assessing the genuineness of all offers of employment outside Canada.
