On Wednesday, October 20, 2021, Seyfarth partners Jennifer Kraft and Benjamin Conley will present the PLI Webinar, "Applying ERISA Fiduciary Rules to Health Plans, Services & Products 2021". Following the enactment of the Affordable Care Act and with the upcoming roll out of transparency regulation requirements, there has been increased awareness of ERISA’s: health plan-related compliance requirements, as well as fiduciary provisions, and liability for failure to comply.  Topics of this webinar will include: 

• The range of ERISA considerations applicable to health plans, from documentary compliance through health plan operational issues
• Determining whether producers of medical products or services, or providers of insurance or other services, are fiduciaries and subject to ERISA’s prohibited transactions provisions
• Conflict of interest / prohibited transaction considerations when plan sponsors provide services/products to their health plan covered employees.
