Julia Gorham and Paul Cutrone to Present at Hong Kong In-House Community eCongress 2021
Seyfarth international employment law partner, Julia Gorham, and international workplace health & safety lawyer, Paul Cutrone, presented at the 2021 In-House Community eCongress Hong Kong series, an event that spanned 13-28 October, 2021.
On 21 October, Julia and Paul lead the presentation, “Future of Work: Employment Law and Health & Safety Implications for International Employers.” During their presentation Julia and Paul:
- Reviewed the key trends that have shaped our workplaces during the Covid-19 pandemic;
- Considered the key future trends for workforces, including workplace design and the war on talent, as well as the unintended consequences of pandemic and post-pandemic working;
- Identified the employment law and health & safety risk and compliance drivers that are / should be on the minds of senior leadership, including mental health as well as physical health impact; and
- Considered the legal environment that international businesses face as workplaces evolve.

On 8 October, Julia also participated in the event’s panel discussion on “Mental Well-Being Beyond the Pandemic.” This is a topic that Julia has written on previously in the article, “A Time For Kindness: Supporting Employee Mental Health in the Era of COVID-19.”
