Kate Perrelli and Dawn Mertineit, both Partners in Seyfarth’s Trade Secrets, Computer Fraud & Non-Competes practice group presented at MyLawCLE’s “Protecting Trade Secrets in a Remote Environment” webinar on Thursday, May 4, 2023. 

The presentation focused on the importance of trade secrets, the requirement for secrecy, what factors constitute reasonable measures to protect secrecy, as well as the many challenges of protecting trade secrets in a remote environment. The program provided strategies for responding to these challenges, such as increased training, well-drafted WFH policies, timely reminders of trade secrets and potential consequences, restrictive covenants, trade secret audits, and more.
