"The hidden cost of employee protection"

Seyfarth Shaw Government Contracts partner Kevin Connelly was published in the Washington Business Journal on March 31. Kevin's article discussed the ongoing litigation surrounding KBR, a contracting company providing logistics support services to U.S. troops in Iraq. KBR provided personal firearms for some of it's employees and hired private security, charging those costs back to the government, which the government disallowed.

Kevin concluded by warning companies that they should be aware of specific contract rules, and adherence to those rules is critical.
