Seyfarth’s Chief Inclusion & Diversity Officer Kori S. Carew, Esq. will deliver the session “Interrupting Unconscious Bias” at the DRI 2021 Managing Partners and Law Firm Leaders Conference on August 27 in Chicago, Illinois.

Kori’s session will address how unconscious bias can become a problem when our unconscious bias influences our actions and decisions when interacting with diverse and minority attorneys. It can affect the types of assignments they receive, the feedback and mentoring given, and our level of trust in a person. Learning how to interrupt unconscious bias and how to address the root of the issue can help firms attract, retain, and develop a diverse workforce.
