Lisa Loesel Discusses Private Equity in 401(k)s in HR Brew

HR Brew quoted Lisa Loesel in its article, “Trump expected to pave the way for private equity in 401(k)s,” on July 24. Loesel discussed how a forthcoming executive order will direct the Department of Labor (DOL) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to develop guidance for including these assets in 401(k) plans.

“The private equity funds and managers themselves, they are always looking for places where they might be able to get an investment of additional capital. 401(k) plans are a very large source of potential capital, so there is somewhat of a push from the private equity sponsors of the world.”
