Liz Deckman was quoted in a September 28 story from PlanSponsor, “Plan Document Restatements Essential to Retirement Plan Compliance.” Deckman said that there are few opportunities to ask for a determination letter these days; other than plan termination, generally the only other way to get a letter on an individually designed plan now is if one has never received a determination letter on the plan before.
